The Oklahoma Veterans Film Competition invites students from Career Tech Centers, high schools and colleges across Oklahoma to create short films documenting the stories of our military veterans. Organized by the Oklahoma Military Heritage Foundation and partnering with Oklahoma CareerTech, this unique initiative provides an opportunity for veterans to share their stories of military service through the lens of student filmmakers. 

The competition aims to document the experiences of veterans on video, produced and directed by the students in teams of 1-3. This collaborative effort not only honors the sacrifices and contributions of our veterans but also provides valuable hands-on experience for the participating students. The competition will run from October 1st, 2024 to November 11, 2024 (Veterans Day), with winners being announced shortly after, with cash prizes and special recognitions for exceptional films by the OKMHF.
